Anna Sophie Loewenberg is the host and creator of Sexy Beijing, a website and Internet TV show about life in China.

Sexy Beijing was created in 2006, and currently has over 8 million views on Youtube and Chinese video-sharing sites.

Anna Sophie is also a filmmaker with over a decade of experience documenting life in China for PBS, and in her own documentary, China Pirates. She has a Master’s Degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.

She has lectured on China and urban culture at Columbia University and The University of California at Berkeley and published widely on the subject in both fiction and non-fiction for media outlets like Giant Robot, SF Gate, BUST Magazine, Pacific News Service, Beijing Scene, and KQED Radio.
